1950 chopped Mercury Convertible for sale! Motorcar Classics is pleased to offer this 1950 Mercury presented in Cadi Crimson Red with GHOST FLAMES and custom black convertible top. This Merc is equipped with a Chevy 350 engine and upgraded Edelbrock Carburetor with a Turbo 400 transmission. Additional options include air ride rear suspension, power brakes and steering, no power windows, no AC but has heat, Monti Carlo front clip, Chevy 3.55 rear, digital dash, Disk player and more. The odometer reads 20 miles, however the true mileage is unknown. This unique Mercury started out as a coupe with many modifications done by previous owners, the build started in 1980 and then was rebuilt again in 1991 with some more recent paint and work done in 2004. The car was chopped 4 inches and has been with its current owner's family for over 25 years. The car is represented as a nice driver and is ready for its next ownership.
