1962 ALFA ROMEO GIULIETTA SPIDER VELOCE for sale. Motorcar Classics is pleased to present this charming 1962 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider Veloce featured in(KF18550) Cardinal Red with Black leather interior piped in Red. Designed by Pininfarina, the Spider has been hailed by many as one of the most appealing two-seaters of all time. The Giulietta Spider was available in both Normale and Veloce (meaning fast) versions of Alfas 750-series 1290cc DOHC 4-cylinder motor with a 4-speed gearbox. This car was built in the age of popular roadsters like MG, Triumph, Austin Healey and Porsche, from manufacturers in Europe and the UK. Many such open cars of this era have sporty looks, but few can match the charm and charisma of this jewel-like Alfa Romeo, nor its modern driving feel. The Giulietta Spider is a very usable and collectible car, and, given its relative rarity compared to its peers, the Giulia Spider Veloce will surely be one of the automotive investment gems of the future.
Our car comes to us from an enthusiast who owned the car since 1974. Correspondence with Alfa Romeo Automobilismo Storico Centro Direzionale confirms that chassis no. AR 171875 is original to an Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider Veloce manufactured in red color on 9 January, 1962, and sold on 12 April, 1962 to Hoffman motor car Co., New york, NY, USA. The car was fully restored circa 2008-09 with receipts in the file. The suspension and brakes were rebuilt, the engine rebuilt, all new body gaskets and more.
The car is in the 750F Spider Veloce Register with motor no. 1315.01370, which was in the car before being acquired by its last owner. This motor is not the tipo 00106 as originally fitted, but it is a 1959-60 contemporary block that is fitted with twin 400COE27 Webers as per the Veloce configuration. The engine is strong and the car is both fast and agile on the road. This Alfa is immaculate from the top or the bottom and is highly recommended.

1987 Bentley Continental Stock # 1003, Mileage: 19304, VIN # SCBZD42A8HCX16683
Price: Call for Price
Exterior Color: St. James Red, Interior Color: Tan
1987 BENTLEY CONTINENTAL CONVERTIBLE for sale. Motorcar Classics is proud to present this exquisite 1987 Bentley Continental Convertible featured in very rare St. James Red with Tan leather interior and matching Tan convertible top and boot cover. The body is highlighted by fine tan pinstriping. The Tan convertible top and Tan boot are as-new.

The Bentley Continental Convertible is very rare compared to the corresponding Rolls Corniche Convertible, and it is considered more desirable because of its understated front end styling and Bentleys sporting heritage. Between 1985 and 1989 a total of only 195 Continental Convertibles were sold worldwide, of which a small percentage came to the United States. Historic data and value guides show that the Continental brings a substantial premium over its Rolls Corniche cousin.

Our car has been cherished and dealer-maintained since new, and has covered only 19,604 miles. Our car also has the desirable Cocktail Set option built into both front doors, and all the pieces of the set are still present. For 1988 the Bentley Continental received the same upgrades that led Rolls-Royce to change the designation of their car to Corniche II. Upgrades include rack and pinion steering, alloy wheels, and bi-level air-conditioning. The car is powered by Rolls renowned 6.75 Liter V-8 with Bosch fuel injection and features a four speed automatic transmission.

With their Mulliner Park Ward coachwork, and bespoke quality, the best examples of these fine convertibles will be treasured by collectors for decades to come. This may be the best example of a very rare car in arguably the best color combination. Your inspection is invited.

Price: $38,900
Exterior Color: black, Interior Color: black
1987 BUICK GRAND NATIONAL for sale. Motorcar Classics is pleased to present this awesome 1987 Buick Grand National featured in Black with Black and Grey interior. Touted when new as the fastest American-made production car in 1987 it is great fun to drive and it is very recognizable. The car has covered 123k miles in the hands of three owners and spent more than half of its life in sunny Arizona. There is a substantial history file including receipts for maintenance over its entire life, and the most recent owner added an Alky Control Progressive alcohol injection system. This custom designed kit simply bolts into the car and includes a factory overflow tank custom modified into an alky tank, and a new overflow. This kit incorporates a full progressive control system that adds the alky as the boost comes up. The controller is small mounted on the dash and has a low alky light so you know when to reload. Alky allows you to run 26 PSI boost on pump gas without knock or detonation. Methanol injection is much cheaper than race gas and eliminates the need to constantly replace O2 sensors that get destroyed by leaded fuel.
Features include power windows, power door locks, power brakes, R-12 AC, cruise control. Sunblox window tint, and Powerlock security system. The GN is clean inside and out and has been well-maintained as evidenced by the receipts in the history file. It was never raced or abused. The Carfax report is clean and the car shows no signs of ever being damaged. It has the original engine, transmission and turbo with no internal modifications or repairs. Upgrades include Kenne Bell valve covers and breathers, MAF pipe with 8" KN filter, 160 thermostat, aluminum water outlet, fuel pump, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, green stripe injectors, throttle body power plate and pinion snubber. Dennis Kirban breather bypass kit, aluminum alternator pulley. Duttweiler intercooler neck, Terry Houston large 304 SS down pipe, CarSound high flow catalytic converter, Hooker cat back dual exhaust. Bilstein shocks. Stock 200-4R Overdrive Transmission & converter rebuilt at 110K. Timing chain replaced 112K. Bosch Hydro-Boost brake system installed 125K (new master cylinder, PS pump and SS braided hoses). AC overhauled 2014 (New compressor, orifice tube, dryer). Blows cold air. New paint in 2015. Glass and all trim, emblems, bumpers, etc removed to ensure a great paint job. Front seats, headrests & visors re-done in 2012. New cloth & foam. No sag! New trunk carpet & spare tire filler. New headliner. Dynamat sound deadening material (roof, floor & doors). Fiberglass dash filler panel. Alpine CDE-HD137BT stereo with Pioneer speakers. Front & rear Spool Fool fiberglass bumper fillers.
This is a fine example of a Grand National that you can show with pride but still get out on the road and enjoy to its full performance potential.

Thus at least 850 Black Pearl Editions were manufactured. The cars were so successful that in 1979 with the introduction of the 280ZX Datsun featured their all Black 280ZX's in their "Black Gold" advertising campaign. Our car is stunningly correct right down to the proper factory wheels. Our car has only 12,744 1-owner miles and has a fresh show-quality repaint. It includes the optional AC and automatic transmission. It is a delight to drive.

1989 Ferrari 328 GTS for sale. Motorcar Classics is now offering this spectacular 1989 Ferrari 328 GTS with just 21,414 miles finished in ultra rare Giallo Fly (Fly Yellow) on Nero (Black) interior. 1989 was the last year that the 328 was produced and the first full year of ABS brakes - it is the last and best 328 one can buy. This particular example is a spectacular one - original owner fully documented car that has had a belt service including a comprehensive 30k mile service completed at just 200 miles ago on 6/2013. The 328 is a very considerable improvement over its predecessor the 308 and has developed a honest reputation for a very entertaining Ferrari to own with very low upkeep costs as compared to any other Modena product from this vintage. This is a extremely rare example of the legendary model which has gained tremendous popularity with the Ferrari community as of late and their values have picked up significant momentum. In addition to all the above what sets this particular car apart from any other 328 is that the forward cowl of the car and the owners manual were autographed by Phil Hill. Mr. Hill is the only American born driver to win a Formula 1 Championship (1961) and additionally he has won the 24 Hours of Le Mans three times (1958, 1961 and 1962). This is a fantastic example to own regardless if your first or one of many - would be at home even in the most discriminating Ferrari collection.]]>

1963 Ford Galaxie 500 Lightweight Stock # 1083, Mileage: 65116, VIN # 3N66R152236
Price: $199,900
Exterior Color: Corinthian White, Interior Color: Red
1963 FORD GALAXIE 427 LIGHTWEIGHT FACTORY DRAG RACER for sale. Motorcar Classics is excited to present this incredibly rare 1963 Ford Galaxie Factory Lightweight Race Car featured in Corinthian White with Red interior. In 1963 Ford built 212 Lightweight Galaxie factory race cars. Features common to these cars include Fords 427/425 HP R-Code engine, Borg Warner 4-speed aluminum transmission, Dual Holley 4 barrel carburetors, Fiberglass front fenders and trunk lid, Heater, radio and arm rest delete, Special lightweight interior components, Bostrom lightweight bucket seats, Rubber floor mat, No seam sealer or sound deadener throughout body panels, Aluminum front and rear bumpers and brackets, 15 inch Kelsey Hayes wheels. This car was found in Georgia and has been the subject of discussion on many forums. The car was located in Georgia and restored by a respected expert. It has fewer than 500 miles since restoration. In period a similar car turned the quarter in 12.49 seconds at 116.27 MPH! The lightweight looked a lot like the street Galaxie 500, but the appearance deceives. Aside from some sheet metal and the 427 block, they had nothing in common. Even the frame was derived from the base 300 series and built with lightweight outer rails, all part of an effort that took hundreds of pounds out of the car. And while the 427 Galaxie 500 Sports Hardtop was the car used in Fords dominating NASCAR program, the lightweight was strictly for the dragstrip. This Galaxie was restored to authentic as-raced configuration including Police Interceptor low-fade 11x3-inch brakes with drilled backing plates, race-spec aluminum RC Industries bellhousing, heavy-duty suspension, and an aluminum-case toploader T-10 4-speed. The interior has no sound deadening or seam sealer, heater or radio; no roof supports, door pulls, dome light, reverse lights nor mirrors; no trunklid springs or even provision for a spare tire. Even the Galaxies padded sun visors were replaced with pieces of cardboard and instead of carpet, a half-thickness rubber mat. The car has an open exhaust system and makes an incredible sound.]]>

It has a rebuilt top-loader 4-speed with Hurst shifter and an aluminum high performance driveshaft. The 9-bolt rear runs 3:50 positraction with heavy-duty axles and rear disc brakes. The car was built to drive, so a completely new front end was installed including A-frames, spindles, disc brakes, steering box. Heavy-duty shocks and springs. The rear has new leaf springs and bushings. All the rubber components were replaced and there are four NOS 1971 Mustang mag wheels with radial tires. Further components include new 4-pass aluminum radiator, alternator, power steering pump, and HD motor mounts. The engine runs ceramic coated headers with Flowmaster mufflers. 1965 JAGUAR XKE ROADSTER for sale. Motorcar Classics is now offering this incredible 1965 Jaguar XKE Roadster featured in Opalescent Silver Blue with Navy Blue leather interior and matching Navy Blue Haartz canvas soft top. The car has just completed an incredible and photo-documented nut and bolt restoration. The restoration was done on a sound car from dry Texas whose prior owner had the car for 28 years. Built on January 19th, 1965 it is an early car, the 502nd 4.2L LHD OTS built. JDHT Heritage Certificate included. All numbers match. For the XKE enthusiast, this car has the desirable combination of covered headlights, toggle switches, and eared knockoffs.

Max Weinbergs hero was bandleader/drummer Dave Clark, of the Dave Clark Five, who is photographed on the cover of Catch Us If You Can lying across the bonnet of an XKE. From then on, Max always said he would own an XKE of the same vintage, and this is the car.

Maxs car was originally Pale Primrose, but he changed it to period-correct Opalescent Silver Blue. In the restoration the brakes were upgraded to Wilwood all-around, and the engine runs ceramic headers. It is detailed to perfection in all respects and a thrill to drive.

FROM THE MAX WEINBERG COLLECTION

Featured in Burgundy with matching Burgundy hardtop, Tan interior and Tan soft top, this is one of the nicest driving Pagoda Mercedes that we have had the opportunity to offer. The 230SL was the first of the R113 series that became known as Pagodas because of the dip in the height of the hardtop between two prominent ridges. This car comes to us from 24 years in the hands of one owner. The car was repainted in Burgundy (from the original White). The interior is original. The engine was rebuilt about 9 years ago, the automatic transmission about 3 years ago. The rear end was re-sealed at the same time. The car has been fitted with an aftermarket Nardi wood-rim steering wheel and a Sony AM/FM/CD radio. It is otherwise stock. The car has great eye-appeal as you can see in our photos. I would characterize it as a very nice driver, perhaps a solid #3 condition. It has no needs and will deliver lots of miles of driving pleasure. These R113 models are known for their mechanical and structural integrity. The style is iconic. 2008 Mercedes-Benz CLK CLK 63 AMG Black Series Stock # 1214, Mileage: 12314, VIN # WDBTJ77H28F242794
Price: $82,935
Exterior Color: Iridium Silver Metallic, Interior Color: Black Nappa Leather
2008 Mercedes-Benz CLK63 AMG Black Series with custom carbon fiber interior by MAcarbon for sale. Motorcar Classics is excited to present this rare 2008 Mercedes CLK 63 AMG Black Series high-performance coupe featured in Bright Iridium Silver Metallic Clear Coat paint with Black Nappa leather interior. AMG's Black Series version of its CLK63 hot-rod coupe is patterned, it is said, on the CLK63 used as a safety car at Formula 1 races and and as a pace car for DTM (German Touring Cars Championship) races. The Black Series is immediately identifiable by its aggressive air-scoop-rich front end and muscular wheel arches. The carbon-fiber ducts you see on the front fascia sides are the real thing, from a material and functional standpoint, as is the tail spoiler. There is more than a hint of the company's DTM CLK race car in this car's appearance, what with its prominent front apron and rear diffuser, 19-inch forged alloys, and extroverted dual-exhaust tailpipes. An incredible rumble emanates from the pipes when you bring the 6.2-liter V-8 to life. Huge torque is on tap, peaking at 465 pound-feet at 5250 rpm, but offering nearly 370 at just 2000 rpm, so the CLK moves off easily on a touch of throttle. A 7-speed AMG-tuned GTronic SpeedShift automatic is standard. Stand on the gas and the exhaust note hardens to an urgent, staccato beat, and the car launches with determination and 60 MPH will come up in about 4 seconds. The car will cruise along on the freeway turning 2200 rpm at 80 mph. Nail it at that speed, and the transmission drops a few gears with awesome top-gear acceleration. The Black Series surges from 30 to 50 mph in 2.0 seconds and from 50 to 70 mph in 2.7 seconds. But the real measure of its output is its ability to accelerate from 60 to 150 mph in less than 20 seconds.
In typical racing manner, front-axle camber is adjustable, whereas the rear axle has adjustable toe only. Compared with the standard CLK63, the Black Series car has a rear track 2.6 inches wider and a front track almost three inches wider. Huge cast-iron-disc, composite-hub brake rotors and monoblock calipers haul the car down from speed with astonishing intensity.
The cockpit features extremely supportive leather-clad sport seats equipped with a full range of manual fore-and-aft adjustment and power recline, lumbar-support, and torso-bolster functions. This car has a particularly handsome interior by virtue of tasteful and costly upgrades by a previous owner. While Mercedes mixed carbon fiber interior elements with lesser aluminum trim, the aluminum trim was replaced with carbon fiber components from MAcarbon. The steering wheel and shift paddles also have been upgraded to carbon fiber. Sitting snugly in the wraparound seat, clutching the flat-bottomed wheel while squeezing the throttle and stabbing the brake, the Black Series blasts down the straights on an exhilarating tide of torque and then digs in hard under braking, turns in with considerable tenacity, rotates willingly on the throttle, and rockets out of the corner. All courtesy of the latest generation of Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires, which do a lot to make transitions progressive and readable without premature tire squeal.
Just over 500 of these cars were produced worldwide with about 350 coming to the US at a price of about $140,000. Our car has covered only 12,314 miles and has been cherished from new with never any history of damage or any paint work. The car was delivered in September of 2007. Factory equipment includes Garage Door opener, Navigation, Satellite Radio, Climate Control, Headlamp Washer, Bi-Xenon Headlamps, AMG 19 Wheels, CD Changer, and more.

2003 Mercedes-Benz SLK 32 AMG KOMPRESSOR Stock # 1196, Mileage: 48000, VIN # WDBKK66F43F290454

2003 MERCEDES-BENZ SLK32 AMG for sale. Motorcar Classics is proud to present this stunning 2003 Mercedes-Benz SLK32 AMG Roadster featured in Brilliant Silver with Charcoal/Alpaca Grey AMG leather interior.
Introduced in 1997, the Mercedes-Benz SLK was just an elegant hardtop-convertible roadster. But in 2002, the debut of the handcrafted AMG version made it an ultra-high-performance sports car. The key to the transformation is the SLK32s handbuilt supercharged AMG 3.2L/349-hp, 332 lb-ft V-6. With an electromagnetically engaged Lysholm- or screw-type intercooled supercharger, AMG increased the stock motors output by an amazing 134 hp and 111 lb-ft of torque. For economy, the blower disengages under light loads and awakens transparently when needed. Driven through a new version of AMGs SpeedShift five-speed automatic transmission you will achieve a 0-60-mph time of about 4.6 seconds! It will turn the quarter-mile in about 13.06-seconds at 108.74-mph. Other AMG modifications to the SLK make it one of the most agile sports roadsters as well. Race-car-size 13.1-in. front brake rotors pull the car to a stop from 60 mph in just 116 ft.
Our SLK32 AMG has been cherished from new by two owners and has covered just about 48k miles. Factory options include the integrated 6 disc CD changer, Xenon headlamps and headlamp washer system. This car carried a MSRP of $55,540 and is a tremendous value at our offered price. The SLK32 AMG is destined for future collectability as well, so it is an astute move to purchase the best of this limited-edition model.

1968 Mercury Cougar XR7 Stock # 1251, Mileage: 69104, VIN # 8R93J521382
Price: $29,900
Exterior Color: Augusta Green, Interior Color: Dark Ivy Gold
1968 MERCURY COUGAR XR7 for sale. Motorcar Classics is proud to present this 1968 Mercury Cougar XR7 featured in Augusta Green with Black vinyl roof and Dark Ivy Gold vinyl interior. Although the Mercury Cougar is based on the wildly successful 1965 Ford Mustang, it is much more than a badge-engineered version of the original ponycar. It is clearly sporty, yet it is also luxurious. It has not only style but also grace. In short, the Cougar is the very definition of what Mercury promoted as Americas most complete luxury sports car. The first-generation Cougar has a look all its own, highlighted by a grille featuring vacuum-operated hideaway headlights, this expansive nose clip is the cars signature styling element. At the tail end are taillights with three sequentially operated elements hidden behind vertical chrome strips. Overall, the Cougar is 6.7 inches longer than a 1967-68 Mustang. In concept, the Mercury Cougar lies between a sporty car like the Ford Mustang and a personal luxury car like the eras Ford Thunderbird. You will find that the Cougar rides better than the Mustang thanks to a wheelbase thats 3.2 inches longer, along with longer rear leaf springs. The Cougar was offered only as a two-door pillarless hardtop in either base or upscale XR-7 trim, like our beautiful example. The XR-7 includes a wood-grain dash, toggle switches, and an overhead binnacle of warning lights, all meant to convey the look of hand-tooled elegance. The Cougar XR-7 was meant to conjure up the image of a European-style grand touring car, and sitting in the cockpit looking at the instrument faces, wood dash, toggle switches, and door pockets, the feeling does come across.
Our XR7 has the original 302CI V8 with four barrel carburetor that was rebuilt and upgraded to produce approximately 380HP! It has Fords automatic gearbox and upgraded AC with modern compressor. The history file includes receipts and details for the engine rebuild in 2015 and a new interior the same year. There are additional receipts for a suspension rebuild and much additional work. The car is fast and a delight to drive. With excellent parts availability, simple maintenance, comfortable interior, and AC - this is a classic car that you could drive every day.

1939 MERCURY CONVERTIBLE CUSTOM STREET ROD for sale. Motorcar Classics is proud to present this awesome 1939 Mercury Convertible Custom Street Rod featured in Red Jewel with Tan leather interior and matching Tan canvas convertible top. This car represents the culmination of a ten-year build that was meticulously done by a team of experienced craftsmen. The build is completely documented and the finished car is turnkey and ready for you to drive and show with pride.

The 1939 Mercury convertible on which the project is based was purchased from Thomas Ketchum in Altamont, New York in 1989 as a true Barn Find. The buyer, an experienced street rodder, then commissioned California Customs of Pensacola, Florida to design and build a custom Street Rod.

The car was delivered to Pensacola in the fall of 2000 for the start of the project. California customs took the car completely apart, and began the project by designing and fabricating and entirely new frame. The floors were removed and replaced with new steel; the top was chopped approximately 1 1/2 and the A-pillars were raked to accommodate the chop. The body was lengthened 4 , and' the hood was pancaked and stretched to match the fenders. New running boards were fabricated and installed. All fender and running board seams were welded and smoothed. Flares were added to all the fenders. The trunk was raised to make room for the rear license plate. Custom tail and headlights were fabricated. The firewall was recessed to accommodate the 5.3L Chevy fuel injected engine and 4L60 Transmission. New suspension was installed on the frame along with a Chevy S-10 Rear End and Parallel leaf springs. The frame was then painted and the body was reinstalled. The front doors had hidden hinges installed with new hinge pockets.

The interior design included a complete custom dash with a console using Dakota gauges, custom chrome trim, a hidden tach in the console compartment and a computer diagnostic plug in the console. The overall curve of the dash design continues into the doors. The car was then prepped and painted.

The owner collected the car in May of 2005 and returned to his NY home. After the return of the car, he wired it, installed components such as the windshield wipers, electric door openers, gauges, vintage AC and heat unit, hood and trunk releases. The car has a remote door switch located under the left front fender for an emergency. Also there is a power shut off switch under the right hand side of the car on the frame. The convertible top was installed in his shop by Mark Last of Lee Center, NY. American Racing Wheels were installed with 265/40ZR/18 tires on the rear and 225/45/ZR17 on the front.

In the fall of 2007, the car was transported to Portage Trim in southern Ohio for a complete custom interior. New Cadillac front seats were purchased and installed, a custom rear seat was designed and built. Custom door panels with chrome accents were added, carpeting and custom floor mats were installed and the trunk was designed to match the interior. The beige interior was designed to complement the exterior color of the car. Pin striping was added to the car featuring the Mercury Logo.

Since the completion of the project, the car has been shown at various shows around New York State and in 2012 it was nominated for the Gene Winfield Top 12 pick at the Syracuse National Meet. Every aspect of the almost ten-year build was photographically documented. We can provide interested parties with a link to a Dropbox folder with approximately 800 photos that start with the the disassembly of the donor car and end with beautiful photos of the completed car. The folder includes sub-folders by period, and if you take the time to examine these photos from beginning to end, you will be rewarded with an understanding and true appreciation of the scope of a project like this and the meticulous craftsmanship that goes into building a custom of this caliber. In addition to the photos, the car includes a binder with manuals for all of the quality components that went into the build, along with another file containing all the build receipts. The car could not be duplicated for the price we are asking and the new owner will have a street or show ready car with every amenity working properly that is a delight on the road.

1950 MG TD Stock # 1260, Mileage: 52422, VIN # LHX1440
Price: $28,900
Exterior Color: Red, Interior Color: Tan
1950 MG TD ROADSTER for sale. Motorcar Classics is proud to present this superb 1950 MG TD Roadster. Featured in Red with Tan interior and matching Tan top. This fine MG comes to us from its third owner, an enthusiast who owned and cherished the car for 43 years! Over that time the car was was restored to the last bits and pieces and there is a substantial history file included. The work was spread over long periods as the owner had time and money to do the work properly, and the car moved with him and his family a number of times. In the late 1970s the engine was sent to McBetts Racing in Copiague, NY they bored it .040 over and rebuilt the head. The clutch was replaced as well.

The owner took the body completely apart and replaced all the wood with the exception of the doors, that were sound. While living in Virginia the car was sent to Bob & Pegs Vintage Tin where they took the car down to the frame, and painted the frame, engine, transmission, and body. The car was painted California Red and there are receipts for some $8K worth of work and pictures. The owner and the car returned to New York in the early 90s. The owner had the gauges rebuilt by Nisonger and he added a temperature gauge to the oil pressure gauge. The carburetors were sent for rebuild to Joe Curto. The car was sent to Mannings Imports in Glen Head, NY, in April of 2014 to be re-wired and re-commissioned to get it back on the road. Manning installed a new interior and put a new top and side curtains on the car. They rebuilt all the brakes and boiled out the gas tank and had it coated. Mannings worked on the car for 6 months and the receipts are in the documentation. The owner added turn signals, electronic ignition and an electronic fuel pump for added reliability. The rims were powder coated and new tires were put on in 2014. This fine TD is an original matching number car that has never been rusted and has always been garaged. The headlights, parking lights and taillights are original as is the body with the exception of the bumpers and over riders. The hand crank is present behind the seat. The correct jack is in the tool box. The car also has a period correct after-market heater. It throws out quite a bit of heat and keeps you warm on those chilly days. Amazingly, the car only has about 100 plus miles on the engine since rebuild so it is still being broken in!

Post WWII American servicemen discovered the joys of these simple and nimble roadsters and they were subsequently imported to the US in large numbers. For many people these T series cars were their introduction to sports cars, and a lot of racing drivers started out the MGs. For collectors today these cars still offer the virtues of fun and simplicity. They are easy to work on and virtually any part is available brand new. With the top down, they are ideal for cruising back roads and challenging your favorite twisty bits. This is one of the best-kept MGTDs that we have had the pleasure to offer. The restoration is all well-done and authentic, making this car a great candidate to drive or show. It would also make a wonderful tour car as it is delightful to drive. Bring your string-back gloves!

1967 OLDSMOBILE TORONADO for sale. Motorcar Classics is pleased to present this rare Survivor 1967 Oldsmobile Toronado Two-Door hardtop featured in Bimini Blue (Code F) with Bimini Blue Morocceen Vinyl and Pattern Cloth Luxury Deluxe interior with front "Strato-Bucket" seats with folding center armrest. This Toronado Deluxe Hardtop came nicely equipped from the factory including working "Comfortron" AC, power steering, power brakes, power windows, tilt and telescopic steering wheel, 6-way power adjustable front seat, day / night rear view mirror, chrome driver's side rear view remote mirror, heater and defroster, working original Oldsmobile transistor AM radio, factory gauge clusters with 135 MPH scrolling speedometer, OEM front and rear seat belts, back up lights, glove box mounted trunk lid release, and hide-away headlights. This Toronado is powered by Oldsmobiles Code "RT" 325 CI, 385HP "Rocket V8" motor with the original 4-barrel intake manifold, exhaust manifolds, valve covers, "Dual Snorkel" air cleaner housing and the original Rochester 4-barrel carburetor. It sounds great too through the factory style dual exhaust system with dual chrome tips. The engine is backed by a smooth-shifting three-speed "THM-425" Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic transmission.
The car is straight and sound with a condition that we would characterize as a well-maintained, largely original, high-level driver. It is reported that the car came from two prior owners in the dry Montana/Idaho high mountain desert area which has likely helped in preserving the original materials. The Toronado personal luxury coupe was a breakthrough design from Oldsmobile when it was introduced in 1966 as the first front-wheel drive American car since the Gordon Beuhrig designed Cord of 1936-37. One is immediately impressed by the broad, flat floors in the passenger compartment made possible by the drivetrain being entirely over the front wheels. This 1967 Toronado is an example of Americas best in both design and engineering.

The Intermeccanica car is a faithful replica that is hard to distinguish from the original card, and is arguably better better than the original in both build quality, handling and performance. This car, in particular, is even more authentic than most with an original, period correct Porsche steering wheel and trim. But the original convertible D would not have had AC, power windows, heated seats, interval wipers, power brakes, sophisticated audio system or many other amenities that were specified from the list of bespoke amenities available from Intermeccanica. And with 146 HP on its 2100 CC engine built by CB Performance in California, this car performs and handles better than any Convertible D we have had the pleasure to drive. 2015 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Stock # 1225, Mileage: 15500, VIN # WP0AB2A96FS124889
Price: $99,900
Exterior Color: Black, Interior Color: Black
2015 PORSCHE 911 CARRERA GTS for sale. Motorcar Classics is proud to present this stunning 2015 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS coupe featured in Jet Black Metallic with black leather and Alcantara interior with red deviated stitching. This GTS has covered only 15,500 miles from new and is in superb condition.
For 2015 Porsche introduced yet another permutation of its venerable 911 sports car called the Carrera GTS. The four new GTS models are positioned between the 911 Carrera S and the track-oriented 911 GT3. The new Carrera GTS coupe and convertible are available with and without all-wheel drive and are essentially a 911 Carrera S with a package of expensive options to make it faster, sportier and more exclusive. Given that, the GTS is a relative bargain because it was priced only $15,300 more than the 911 Carrera S, but the total cost of the added features that come standard for example, the Carrera S Powerkit, which delivers 30 extra horsepower far exceed that amount. Top speed on the GTS is 190 miles per hour 3 miles per hour faster than the S model. The Powerkit alone, a $17,800 option on the 911 Carrera S, elevates total output to 430 horsepower, versus 400 horsepower in the base 911 Carrera S. The Powerkit also includes the Sport Chrono Package ($1,850 on the 911 Carrera S), which features special dynamic engine mounts that reduce body roll when turning, and the Sport Exhaust ($2,950), which offers a louder, throatier sound. Carrera GTS buyers still have to pay extra for optional features like the PDK transmission, though. When equipped with this seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, like our car, ($4,080), the 911 Carrera GTS coupe sprints from 0 to 62 miles per hour in 3.8 seconds. The Carrera GTS has a more aggressive stance thanks to a lowered suspension that also features Porsche Active Suspension Management, or PASM. This electronic damping system uses sensors to adapt to road conditions and driving style. Its an $890 option on the 911 Carrera S, but standard on the GTS. The GTS features flared fenders of the same design as on the 911 Carrera 4 all-wheel-drive model. Unique front bumpers, blacked-out trim and 20-inch, gloss-black wheels further distinguish the 911 Carrera GTS from other models. Headlights that swivel along with the steering wheel to light up the road around turns are also standard on the GTS. This dynamic lighting, as Porsche calls it, is normally a $1,515 option. The interior features an elegant combination of leather and Alcantara.
Our car also has additional factory options including: Carmine Red instrument dials, Front and rear Park Assist, Glass sunroof, power Steering Plus, 18-Way Adaptive Sport seats with Memory, Premium Package, BOSE Audio package, and Ornamental Porsche Crest. This car carried an original list price of $138,320.00.

With Donohue's help, Griffith set up a shop in Halesite, NY, where he installed Ford 289 V8's into Mk III TVR Granturas creating the Griffith 200 as we have on offer. With a 0-60 time of 3.9 seconds the Griffith delivered incredible performance for its time. Our car has been re-powered with a Ford 302 backed with a 5-speed gearbox. It is well-sorted and a thrill to drive.
