1911 Mack Omnibus for sale! Motorcar Classics is pleased to present this fascinating 1911 Mack Omnibus. It is licensed, inspected, and registered as a 1911 Mack with vehicle identification MK27. The motor has been updated with a modern powerplant with electric starting. This allows for greater reliability and ease of parts availability. The rear wheels are chain driven, as originally constructed. The artillery wheels are mounted with pneumatic tires all around. The electrical system has all the lights required to be street legal. The Mack Company sold many of its chassis to custom coachbuilders. Some were transformed into fire engines, tankers, tow trucks, or flatbeds. To our knowledge, this is the only similar Mack chassis with a bus conversion. It has a driver's bench seat with an additional bench seat on the roof (that is removable, if so desired). The fully upholstered coach seats have a capacity for six to eight passengers with interior wood trim featuring glass windows and roll down shades. The bus starts reliably and it runs and drives quite well. It is roadworthy and meets all of New York State's safety requirements. This would make a great promotional vehicle, property tour vehicle, party bus, or limousine. It would surely be a fun addition to a collection of antique vehicles.
